About the event
The Social Work and Law Symposium (formerly Social Work and Law National Symposium), is a two-day virtual event bringing together justice-oriented educators, researchers, practitioners, community leaders, and students for synergistic learning collaboration. This event exists to harness energy, passion, and wisdom to advance the field of forensic social work. Those with interest in serving persons involved with the legal system or operate from a cross-disciplinary approach of social work and law are welcome. Our multi-year theme is A Kaleidoscope of Transformative Justice!
Join us for two full days of dynamic presenters leading engaging presentations, workshops and interactive discussions in key learning areas to include children and families, community policing, immigration, forensic education, values and ethics, and so much more!
